What Are Words Worth...2U?

April -

Gallery North

Artist: Matthew Hearn

Building on last year’s successful pilot programme, What are Words Worth 2U? will stage a more expansive programme across a range of public facing spaces at Northumbria inc. Gallery North, Theatre, Library, Screens in Student Central. What are Words Worth 2U? is a platform for profiling research and creative practices that are centred around the operations and functions of language. In asking the question, what are words worth, to you? the programme will pay particular focus to projects and research where language is ‘performed’ or enacted, or practices in which (sub)text is a vital to the modus operandi and the processes of the research.
