Teachers and Advisers Conference

Save the date for Friday 3 July 2026 and join us at Northumbria University for our annual Teachers and Advisers Conference – a dynamic day designed especially for heads of sixth forms, career leads and senior leaders from our partner schools across the North East, Yorkshire and the North West.

Taking place from 9.00am to 3.00pm, this engaging full-day event will offer fresh insight into the higher education landscape and the opportunities available to your students at Northumbria.

Highlights will include:

• A keynote session from UCAS, exploring sector trends and the new personal statement format
• Interactive faculty sessions, giving you hands-on insight into subject areas such as Health, Business, Law, Sport, Psychology, Criminology and our new Space programmes
• Updates on admissions processes and supported entry routes
• Plenty of opportunities to network with fellow teachers and advisors, as well as our academic and professional teams
• Attendance from our partners Unifrog

Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day, travel costs will be reimbursed and we’ll round off the conference with optional summer drinks, offering a relaxed chance to continue conversations and make new connections.
