Northumbria University Catwalk Show, BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art - Tuesday, 31 March 2020
Fashioned Up North is an exciting, brand new way for the Northumbria University Fashion Department to show you what we do! As a thriving community of three dynamic BA Hons Fashion degree programmes, we are delighted to invite you to share an experiential afternoon with us. Our aim is to encourage your amazing students to aspire to be our future students and join us on an unrivalled journey of discovery and creativity.
We are celebrating our North East Heritage and roots here in Newcastle. Like our environment and surroundings, we are proud of our commitment to crafted integrity, resilience and tenacity. Our enduring quest for creativity is born and bred out of our unique character, defiance against the odds and our character and individuality. Having been Fashioned Up North, we are fiercely independent, passionate, eclectic, diverse and proud.
Fashioned Up North will transform Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art into a physical and virtual fashion environment which will showcase work from Fashion, Fashion Design & Marketing and Fashion Communication. The three courses are coming together to create a multi-sensory exposition which will guide you through all the stages of both the courses and our activities. We will be showcasing garment catwalk collections, branded fashion product ranges,
Alongside live photoshoots and styling demonstrations, projected imagery and cutting edge fashion film. will allow you an exclusive glimpse into the exciting and fast-moving world of Northumbria Fashion undergraduate study. You will be able to interact with the students and staff of our celebrated School of Design fashion degree programmes in an up close and personal interactive fashion experience.
