Dr Michael Elsdon

Michael joined the team in 2008.

I joined the team in 2008. I obtained my first and second degrees at Northumbria University. Following this I became a post-doctoral researcher in the area of breast cancer detection on a joint project between Northumbria University and Newcastle University Medical School.

My main areas of research are in the field of microwave imaging and antenna design.

I am programme leader for electrical and electronic engineering. My main teaching duties include communications, microwave engineering and antenna design.
