Qing Qin

Qing is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Northumbria University interested in the ice-ocean interactions. By working on hindcast and forecast simulations, her postdoctoral research aims to investigate the role of freshwater fluxes from the Antarctic ice sheet, both in the present and future. With a background in oceanography, Qing's PhD research explored atmosphere-ocean-sea ice interactions and Southern Ocean circulation. She employs theoretical, observational, and numerical tools to study key processes during climate change.
