Can I reduce the costs of my studies with a scholarship?

Yes, many students will be awarded a scholarship for study with SGU. However, scholarship values vary and are allocated on an individual basis by SGU based on each student’s individual circumstances. Unfortunately no scholarships are available for first year of study during the Six Year Doctor of Medicine programme (MD6). This is a Northumbria award and so students will pay the standard international fee of £16,000.  UK students who are classified as Home fee status will not be eligible for scholarships during their studies in Newcastle.  However, scholarships may be available to support later stages of study in Grenada.  Students will be assessed for scholarship eligibility by SGU during the application process.
