Becas Chile Programme

The Becas Chile scheme started in 2008 as the Chilean Government’s main funding to support Chilean students to study postgraduate courses at overseas universities, with the objective of contributing to Chile’s “Innovation and competitiveness”. The scheme will cover all postgraduate courses with the exception of  the LLM and MBA or any other Master’s degree with “Finance” in the title.

The Scholarship covers full international tuition fee, return flights, stipend for books, stipend for living expenses, health insurance, settling and returning allowance and up to 1 year language course in Chile if necessary.

All students selected for this scholarship are required to return to Chile after the course finishes and upon return, Santiago residents must stay in Santiago for double the time they were abroad for, or the same amount of time if a non-Santiago resident.
