Postgraduate Research Events Support Scheme

Pgr Research Events Support Scheme Application 2022-23Events _medium

This scheme offers bursaries to a team of postgraduate research students to fund the organisation of a conference or event within their discipline. The normal requirement is that the successful application will include one external speaker, be aimed at postgraduate research students and that knowledge and experience gained from the conference will be fed back to their supervision team and research group. Funds are available of up to £300 to support a research event, funds permitting.

If you are a Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) funded student, you should firstly apply for funds through the CDT’s funding streams. 

All applicants are responsible for ensuring adherence to Northumbria’s Health and Safety policies and practices.  For further information, please see the Health and Safety webpage.

If you need to claim expenses please submit a Student Expenses Claim Form (up to the value of the award) with supporting receipts to The Graduate School who will authorise and forward to Finance for payment.
