Designed for managers with a non-financial background, this course aims to equip you with the skills you need to better understand the financial implications of your decisions and improve the financial performance of your organisation.

The course will cover financial statements, management accounts, effective reporting and project planning in order to increase your confidence in analysing, interpreting and evaluating financial information.

By demystifying key financial terminology, concepts and principles this course will enable you to better understand and contribute to your organisation’s financial success.

This course is delivered by Tracey Wilson BA (Hons), FCA, CTA, our Associate Head of Department for Accounting and Finance. Tracey is a chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser.  She teaches tax and financial reporting on a number of programmes at Newcastle Business School.  She previously worked for BPP Professional Education where she was Managing Director of the Newcastle campus. She is an experienced tax and financial accounting lecturer and is a regular speaker at local accountancy body events.  Her research interest is corporate tax reform.
