Very welcoming - there was lots of useful information and advice given upon enrolling.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to Northumbria University?

The amount of tutor interaction.

Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?

Guidance session tutors - Clare Hoy and Guy Brown in particular.

What is your favourite place on campus?

The Library

What is the best thing about your course?

The session podcasts are very easy to follow.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

I've gained an appreciation for the time needed to go into academic writing.

What do you want to do in the future?  What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

I'd like to study more before I leave the Army in 3 years. Leadership and Management in the civilian sector is totally different to the Army.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

Do it - the university is very welcoming and will help you in any way possible.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at Northumbria University, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

My academic writing has improved, and I've learnt how to critically review a subject.

If you had 3 words to sum up your time with us what would they be?

I feel like I'm building my future.

Would you recommend Northumbria University to a friend?

Yes - definately
