FAQs

The Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) is an electronic document produced by a higher education institution that provides a record of a student’s academic and verified extra-curricular achievements during their period of study. It is intended to provide a fuller picture of your time at University.

The majority of students undertaking an undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme at Northumbria’s UK campuses, are eligible for a Northumbria HEAR. 

There are some exceptions to eligibility and the following students will NOT receive a HEAR: 

  • Students studying Postgraduate Research programmes. 
  • Incoming exchange students. 
  • Students who studied a single module programme. 
  • Students studying at some partner institutions.
