Room of people sat listening to a presentationThis term’s seminars have showcased a range of interests among researchers in the Centre. This week, Nicole (pictured) presented some ongoing research into the use of multi-level analysis in business and management research, raising some very interesting questions about the scope for truly engaging a mix of macro- meso- and micro-level issues through qualitative methods.

Also at the November session, Tadhg Blommerde gave a very candid and personal account of the challenges of publishing ideas that challenge the orthodoxy of mainstream journals. His modelling approach for developing measures of service innovation capability among SMEs shows that a combination of networks, customer engagement is essential for developing a distinctive way of understand service innovations.

The next event is on 14th December, where Victoria Mountford-Brown will present some ongoing research on neurodiversity in entrepreneurship education and Nik Goumagias will talk about his work with UNESCO.
