Leadership Development Programme

The programme is designed to develop and enhance the learner’s leadership capabilities and employability skills via:

  • Personal tutor meetings
  • Leadership Residential Programme
  • Leadership Attributes Programme
  • Career Development Skills
  • Coaching   

 

The Leadership Attributes are intended to guide and support current and emerging or aspiring leaders by:

  • Setting out a clear summary of what good leadership looks like
  • Providing a clear set of expectations that can be used to consider individual development needs
  • Establishing a clear set of leadership requirements that can be used to plan further leadership development
  • Raise awareness of existing leadership strengths and capabilities

The Leadership Residential designed as part of the extended induction process will enable learners to:

  • Build relationships with fellow learners and team capabilities
  • Practise leadership skills in relation to the leadership attributes and understand leadership development needs

The Career Development Workshops will:

  • Help learners to plan their personal and professional career development
  • Assist learners to identify self-competence and weakness as well as career management needs
  • Develop learners' ability to develop an appropriate personal and professional strategy and implementation plan
  • Provide bespoke and interactive session(s) of MBA career management (e.g. self-marketing, CVs, interviews, job search etc.)
