Santander Universities UK Graduate Internships

Northumbria Santander Universities Internships are not just for students. Northumbria Careers and Employment Service is working in partnership with Santander Universities UK to deliver an internship scheme bringing together talented graduates with innovative and growing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Northumbria University Placements & Internships Team are pleased to announce that the Santander Internship scheme for 2019-20 is now open. There are a variety of scheme durations available, ranging from 2 weeks to 4 - 8 weeks and these are open to graduates from all disciplines. Many of the interns on previous schemes were kept on by the employer so as well as gaining work experience you could end up with a permanent job.

The scheme is an ideal opportunity for talented Northumbria graduates to secure paid work experience with SMEs from a wide range of sectors. Employers are not always looking for a specific degree - often they just want an intern who will show initiative, work well in a team and be creative and enthusiastic with internships providing the perfect opportunity to develop those essential employability skills and build professional experience for CVs and covering letters.

All internship vacancies will be advertised on Northumbria JobsOnline. If you haven’t already, register for access to JobsOnline now. When you login search for Northumbria Santander Universities Internships in Vacancies to find all current internships. If you don’t see an internship you are interested in straight away, keep looking. We will be working with employers right through the spring and summer of 2020 to provide new internship opportunities.

And don’t forget, any graduate that may already be employed with an SME who is interested in offering an internship to a fellow graduate is invited to register interest via the employer registration form.
