How connected was your course with industry?

It was really connected with industry theoretically. Everything was an example from reality. However, I got lucky to get a placement during my study at the company I am working now. I did my dissertation around this company while I was getting paid for it.

If you took on a placement during your course how did you feel this helped you in your career/ with your studies?

I was the only one chosen to do my thesis for a company and it really helped on everything. I was getting paid for it, I was working on a problem that many industries are facing now, so my project was related directly to the industry.
