Northumbria University Drama Showcase at Live Theatre.
The Northumbria University Drama Showcase celebrates this year’s most exciting and thought-provoking work across our three undergraduate programmes and our MA programme.
We are hosting a number of shows and workshops at Live Theatre from 29 May – 1 June and this year, students from the Northumbria University BA (Hons) Drama (Acting and Performance) programme present: Land: Beating the Bounds. The play is directed by Northumbria University's award winning playwright and director, Steve Gilroy and written by Chinonyerem Odimba, Live Theatre and Northumbria University's Writer in Residence.
In addition to the performance of Land: Beating the Bounds, there is opportunity for friends and family, artists, alumni and partners to hear about the work of the next generation of drama and applied theatre, through a series of scriptwriting, applied theatre workshops and join us for a research symposium and research preview from Northumbria academic colleagues and postgraduate students
