Hannah Martin - Geography and Environmental Sciences

PhD researcher Hannah Martin featured on Sky's Landscape Artist of the Year when the show came to Newcastle and Gateshead for episode five of this year's series.

With this year's contestants tasked with painting the iconic Tyne Bridge, Hannah was able to provide some key background information about the history, culture and identity of the structure.

This followed the bridge's 90th anniversary last year, with Hannah contributing to a number of events and articles around this key milestone.

Sky customers can watch the episode again here.
