It's for adults who are ready to study but haven't had a traditional route in, including people not currently in education, employment or training, those returning to study after time away, and people looking to change career. It's also designed for anyone balancing work or caring responsibilities who needs study that fits around their life.
The first subjects available from November 2026 are Business and Digital Technologies. Further subjects will follow, aligned to the skills the North East economy needs most.
You'll study on two fixed days each week, with a blend of in-person teaching and online learning, throughout your four-year programme. This structure is designed to fit around work and family commitments.
Teaching takes place at Northumbria's Coach Lane Campus in Benton, Newcastle upon Tyne.
