  • Glacier-climate relationships
  • Remote sensing and numerical melt modelling of snow and ice masses
  • Meteorology and water resources in upland environments
  • Debris-covered glaciers
  • Volcano-ice interactions
  • Quaternary evolution of glaciated landscapes
