Mark McCutcheon

Assistant Professor

School: Sport Exercise and Rehabilitation

Mark joined Northumbria University in November 2013 after working as a teacher and then as a manager of a Sport Academy in Further Education.  At Northumbria, Mark’s current teaching responsibilities include module leadership for Resource Management in Sport, Strategic Planning for Sport and Sport Facility & Operational Management.  Mark also teaches on the MSc International Sport Management Programme on modules such as Human Resource Management and the Research Process.  Mark is currently studying for his PhD which has a focus on the management of football academies in England.  In addition to this, Mark is a UEFA A (level 4) Licensed Coach and works part time at Newcastle United Academy coaching in the Youth Development phase.
