Our Alumni - Work For Us
Dr. Nhung Nguyen is an Assistant Professor at Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University. Her research interests encompass human resource management and organisational behaviour in both public and private sectors. She is particularly interested in the mechanisms to foster employee innovative behaviour, organisational change and innovation, as well as the drivers of diversity and inclusion trends in organisations. Her research has been published in scholarly outlets, including Public Management Review, Review of Public Personnel Administration, Administration & Society, Public Personnel Management, and the Public Performance & Management Review.
Dr. Nhung Nguyen's research focus revolves around uncovering the mechanisms that promote innovation at the employee level, specifically employee work innovative behaviour, as well as the dynamics of organisational-level change and innovation. She is also dedicated to identifying the drivers behind positive and negative workplace attitudes and behaviours. Dr. Nguyen adopts a predominantly quantitative approach in her research, relying on statistical analyses and empirical data to systematically examine patterns and correlations. This methodological preference underscores her commitment to providing evidence-based insights into management phenomena. Students whose research aligns with Dr. Nhung Nguyen are encouraged to reach out for discussions regarding their Ph.D. studies with her.
