Dr Chaminda Senaratne

Assistant Professor

Chaminda is an Assistant Professor (Senior Lecturer) in Strategic Management and International Business. He holds a PhD in Management from Royal Holloway, University of London, as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching Skills (inSTIL). A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK), his research interests lie in strategic management, with a specific focus on the resource-based view, capability perspectives, entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital technologies. His work also extends to exploring these topics in international contexts.

Chaminda has contributed to research projects funded by prestigious bodies such as the ESRC and InnovateUK. His research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals and presented at leading academic conferences. He is also a frequent reviewer for academic journals and has served as an examiner for doctorates at several UK universities.

Beyond academia, Chaminda has industry experience in the UK and has provided advisory services to some of UK start-ups, further enhancing his practical knowledge and industry insight.
