Creative collaboration is at the heart of what we do, so you’ll often find a Performance student starring in a Media student’s film ‘short’ or a Fashion student in the 3D Design workshops. We also give you plenty of opportunities to engage with the wider creative community across the North East, through our cultural partnerships such as the BALTIC Centre for contemporary Art, LIVE Theatre, New Writing North, Tyne and Wear Archives and Museums.
Off campus you can immerse yourself in Newcastle’s cool hang outs and Instagram your way around venues such as the Boiler Shop Steamer, Design Event Northeast, Hoults Yard, the Ouseburn Creative Community, BALTIC 39, the Sage Gateshead, Tyneside Cinema, the Live Theatre and Think Tank.
The result is a thriving, stimulating community of artists, practitioners, students, and staff who collaborate with experts to generate new ways of thinking and creative practice.
