Profile picture of Christine de LilleProfessor De Lille joined Northumbria University as Campus Director for Amsterdam in 2022, joining from The Hague University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.

Whilst with The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Christine held the positions of Professor of Innovation Networks and Co-Director of the Centre for Expertise “Mission Zero”, a research group working to create zero-carbon economies. Christine has extensive research experience and expertise in design, management, living labs and systemic design and has worked closely with industry partners such as Royal Dutch Airlines (KLM). She has also secured large-scale funding on projects, such as Horizon2020, RVO & NWO (Dutch National Government), and industry.

Profile picture of Eustathios SainidisDr Eustathios Sainidis joined Northumbria University in 2022 as a Lecturer in Strategic Management and his role has since evolved towards an academic leadership position, contributing to the development and growth of Northumbria as an internationally distinguished centre of academic excellence.

Eustathios is currently Deputy Campus Director for two of Northumbria's satellite campuses - the Amsterdam Campus and the London Campus. Eustathios' professional aim is to ensure Northumbria University continues on its path to be a highly attractive university for students and academic talent, shaping the higher education sector nationally and beyond.

Profile picture of Alessia PatuelliAlessia Patuelli is a Lecturer at Northumbria University’s Amsterdam Campus. Previously, she was an Assistant Professor of Management at IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca (Italy) and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Ferrara and the University of Florence. Alessia received her PhD in Business Administration and Management from the University of Pisa in 2017.

Alessia's present research focuses on family businesses, corporate social responsibility, and sustainable development goals, using qualitative and interdisciplinary approaches at the intersection of management and complex networks, big data, and machine learning. Alessia’s research has appeared in leading international journals such as the Journal of Cleaner Production, PlosOne, the Journal of Business Ethics, and Accounting History.

Profile picture of Frithjof WegenerFrithjof Wegener (M.Sc.) is Lecturer in Strategic Management at Northumbria University Amsterdam Campus. He is finalizing his PhD in Pragmatism and Organisation Design at the Warwick Business School under the supervision of Prof. Davide Nicolini and Dr Katharina Dittrich.

Frithjof received a Bachelor of Science in Natural & Social Sciences with a Major in Business from the Institute of Interdisciplinary Studies of the University of Amsterdam and a Master of Science (cum laude) in Management of Innovation from the Rotterdam School of Management. He previously worked at the VU Amsterdam Business School on digital innovation ecosystems and the TU Delft Design School on organisation design.

Next to his work with Northumbria University, Frithjof is also a research fellow with Tima Bansal at Innovation North, working on sustainable innovation through systems thinking. Currently, his research and teaching are focused on pragmatism, organisation, design, strategy and sustainability. He also published in organisation studies and design studies.

Dr Alexandra (Alex) Mifsud has lectured and supervised student research in the field of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in several universities in the UK and internationally. She also sits on the Sustainability Research Group within the London Regional Centre of Expertise on ESD.

Alex has developed ESD courses and training programmes for a wide range of audiences and applies her research interests in employee engagement and behavioural change to assist organisations' work towards their sustainable development goals. Alex has published work in the fields of sustainability, climate education, and circular economy education. Alex has delivered the Carbon Literacy Training to staff and students at Universities in the UK, US and beyond.
