Authentic Leadership & Design Thinking: Monday 23rd June to Friday 27th June at BSB Dijon Campus

Empowering Sustainability: Monday 30th June to Friday 4th July at BSB Lyon Campus

Two spaces available on the Authentic Leadership & Design Thinking programme.

Four spaces available on the Empowering Sustainability programme.

Cost of programme:

  • Authentic Leadership & Design Thinking, Dijon Campus
    • Admin Fee: €160
    • Accommodation: €45 per night per person for twin room and €80 per night for single room 
    • Travel: approx. £400
    • Total: £830/£1000 (depending on room)
  • Empowering Sustainability Transformative Pathways in Consumption, Lyon Campus
    • Admin Fee: €160
    • Accommodation: €57 per night per person for twin room and €100 per night for single room
    • Travel: approx. £162
    • Total: £675/£962 (depending on room)

Funding available: 

Six grants of £1000 per student are available to Undergraduate UK students who fall within any of the listed criteria;

 Low income background  Household annual income of £25,000 or less 
 BAME Black, Asia and Minority Ethnic in this case refers to all ethnic groups (except the White British/Other group)
 Disability

This includes physical conditions including sensory or auditory impairments, Specific Learning Differences (SpLD) including dyslexia and ADHD, a social or communication difference such as an autism spectrum condition, or long-term mental health conditions.

 Student Carer  A student carer is a student who cares unpaid, for a friend or family member who due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or addiction cannot cope without their support. A definition of a student carer can be found in our Student Carer article.
 Care leavers

This status applies to people under the age of 25 who were 'looked after' by the local authority for at least 13 weeks since the age of 14 and ending after the age of 16. An official definition of a Care Leaver, can be found in our Care Leavers article.  

 Low participation neighbourhood This criteria is based on Participation of Local Areas (POLAR) which is produced by the Office for Students and classifies areas across the UK into groups according to their level of young participation in Higher Education. Each of these groups are ranked from Quintile 1 (areas with the lowest young participation rates, considered as the most disadvantaged) to Quintile 5.

To qualify under this criteria:

Your non-term time address must fall within POLAR 4 and Quintile 1 or 2. Please check your postcode on the Office for Students website to confirm your eligibility.

Your non-term time address must be in the UK.

Your non-term time address is the home address you registered with the University. To add or update your home address please see Changing your personal information.

 Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller Communities  You must have self-declared your ethnicity via the Statutory Details section during the enrolment process.
