Northumbria students can apply for one of the following 4 week study programmes:

  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & Event Management in La Rochelle
  • French Language, Culture and Gastronomy or Sports in La Rochelle (minimum A2 French required)

The CSR and Event Management course is taught entirely in English, including cultural excursions and company visits, where you will discover different business models and meet entrepreneurs. 

The French and Gastronomy/Sports course will be delivered in French and will cover French culture, history and traditions. Students who choose gastronomy can enjoy practical workshops, cooking classes a cultural visits, whereas those who choose sports will have a chance to practice sea sports and various team sports.

French Language, Culture and Gastronomy or Sports - 21st June to 19th July

  

Funding available: 

There are three grants available for students who meet any of the widening participation criteria:

  • Living cost grant: £588
  • Travel grant: up to £250
  • Additional costs:up to £40 this supports payment towards buying/renewing a passport, travel insurance and vaccinations 

Students who are not accepted for funding can still participate in the programme and be covered by the university's insurance.

 

Programme fee: 

There are no tuition fees for this programme. While Excelia support students in finding accommodation, the price can vary and is expected to cost in the region of 600-2000€.
