Jonkoping University summer school is excited to announce a 4-week course in June hosted by the School of Engineering! The programme includes visits to local companies as well as a social and cultural package filled with activities and Swedish traditions.  There are three courses to choose from all taught in English;

  • Purchasing Logistics with a Global Perspective
  • Human-centred Cybersecurity and Privacy
  • Project Management and Leadership

Funding available: 

There are three grants available for students who meet any of the widening participation criteria: 

  • Living cost grant: £546
  • Travel grant: up to £250 
  • Additional costs: up to £40 this supports payment towards buying/renewing a passport, travel insurance and vaccinations  

Students who are not accepted for funding can still participate in the programme and be covered by the university's insurance.

Programme cost: 

There is no tuition fee for the programme, but accommodation and social activities should be considered.

Accommodation is between 4000-5000 SEK.

Social and cultural package 2200 SEK.

 

What does the Social and Cultural package cost include? 

  • Local bus card
  • Welcome lunch
  • Farewell dinner
  • Swedish Midsummer celebrations
  • Evening/weekend social and cultural activities (locally and within the region, including a day trip to historic places of interest and Gothenburg)
  • The package is not compulsory but is recommended by Jonkoping to get the best out of your stay
