Application deadline:

Students must apply a minimum of 5-weeks before they travel.

 

When: 

Flexible start dates from September 2025- August 2026 for 14 days

*2 week programme must be completed by 31st August

 

Funding available: 

There are three grants available for students who meet any of the widening participation criteria:

Living cost grant: £294 

Travel grant: up to £325

Additional costs: up to £40 this supports payment towards buying/renewing a passport, travel insurance and vaccinations 

For those who do not meet any of the criteria there is a grant of £238 available.

 

Students who are not accepted for funding can still participate in the programme and be covered by the university's insurance 

 

Programme fee: 

For 2 weeks, the programme cost is a £184 registration fee, plus £448 for accommodation and minimum threshold of £150 in fundraising required.
