Funding available:
There are three grants available for students who meet any of the widening participation criteria:
Living cost grant: £588 for 4 weeks (£294 for 2 weeks, £441 for 3 weeks)
Travel grant: up to £905
Additional costs: up to £40 this supports payment towards buying/renewing a passport, travel insurance and vaccinations
For those who do not meet any of the criteria there is a grant of £476 available for 4 weeks (£357 for 3 weeks, £238 for 2 weeks.)
Students who are not accepted for funding can still participate in the programme and be covered by the university's insurance
Programme fee:
The programme cost is a £184 registration fee, plus £980 for accommodation and minimum threshold of £300 in fundraising required.
