What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

The people here are so friendly. Though it is hard to get their accent, but strangers or friends, they are always keen to offer a helping hand. What surprised me the most is the weather. You cannot predict it. It is always best to wear a coat or a jacket. It didn't snow last year though it snowed heavily the year before.

Did you find Northumbria University welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Northumbria University is bar far, the most welcoming and hospitable institution that I have enrolled in. I thought high school was the best time of my life. I was wrong.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to Northumbria University?

The staff, the lectures, and fellow students are always keen to help. Even small matter like finding the lecture theatre, they would take the time and lead you to it. It is just the friendly atmosphere that made my day, every day.

Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?

As I spent most of my time in lectures, I would say the lecturer. However, I would like to express my gratitude to all the staff members within this University. Without them, none of this exhilarating experience could have happened.

Who has inspired you most at Northumbria University?

The Student's Union inspired me the most. They take time to listen and understand what are the students' demand and what are their expectation. Each year is different and so is the improvement. It may not be a major improvement, but it is those little things that count the most.

What is your favourite place on campus?

Sport Central, Habita, Library. Practically anywhere is my favourite.

Have you joined any sports teams, clubs or been involved in any volunteer projects? Tells us about the highlights?

As an International student in my final year, I find it hard to take some time out and get myself involve in these clubs or projects.

What is the best thing about your course?

I know how the law works and I know how to argue my case!

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

Courtesy is top priority.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

I would want to practice as a Barrister. The skills such as mooting and advocating helped me prepare for my future careers. Especially the mock court. it sets the scene.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

Forget about other options, Northumbria University should be your only choice. I am the proof here.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at Northumbria University, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

Definitely my confidence level. I could just talk to a random strangers for hours.

If you had 3 words to sum up your time with us what would they be?

Awesome, Extraordinary, Legendary!

Would you recommend Northumbria University to a friend?

Definitely!
