We have opened up all of our car parks free of charge for visitors to the Open Day on Saturday 25th June.

City Campus – the main car park is City Campus East – postcode NE1 2SU / what3words: builds.beyond.either

There are also a number of spaces in:

  • Camden Street – NE2 1XE / what3words: double.brands.jolly
  • Day Street – NE1 8SU / what3words: ally.fields.leave
  • Sport Central – NE1 8QD / what3words: mass.visits.people

Alternative City Centre Pay & Display car parks include:

  • John Dobson Street – NE1 8HL – validate your ticket at our Security stand in the Central Exhibition in Sport Central for a discounted rate
  • MEA House – NE1 8SX
  • College Street – NE1 8JG
  • Civic Centre – NE2 1DF
  • Manors – NE1 2LA

Coach Lane Campus – the main car park is Coach Lane Campus East – postcode NE7 7TR (this will guide you to a nearby housing estate, so as you get close please follow the signs to the University) / what3words: fine.truly.healers

Alternative parking for Coach Lane is at Four Lane Ends Metro, postcode NE7 7TG, where there is a large car park that is approx. 10-minutes walk to the Campus.

During the Open Days a free shuttle bus will also run for visitors between City Campus and Coach Lane Campus

In line with government guidelines, we are pleased to be able to welcome you on campus, invite you to our postgraduate event and enjoy our dedicated postgraduate lounge area where you can speak to academics and find out what it's like to study a master's at Northumbria. You will also have the opportunity to explore some of our facilities and take part in campus tours.
