UCAS Exhibition Competition
Using Twitter, Instagram or Snap Chat with #UCASatNorthumbria we would love to know how you are enjoying your time at the UCAS Exhibition at Northumbria University.
On the day, 28th April, use #UCASatNorthumbria to share your thoughts with us on Twitter, Snap Chat or Instagram and we’ll pick our favourite post every hour between 9.30am – 3pm to win a prize.
You must use #UCASatNorthumbria within your social post to be considered and be in with a chance to win a prize.
The competition is only open to visitors of the Open Day and full terms and conditions can be found below.

Star Prize
We will be running an additional Star Prize competition after the exhibition to win an Apple Sport. Simply tweet, Instagram or Snap Chat us your overall experience of the event or what your favourite part was. You must include #UCASatNorthumbria to enter. Entries will open from the following dates and times:
- Thursday 28th April – 3pm - 12 midnight
The Star winner will be notified on the social media platform they entered on.
WHAT DO I WIN
Each eligible entry will be considered and a favourite will be chosen every hour between 9.30am - 3pm by a member of the social media team. A member of the social media team will inform winners via the platform they use to enter. Prizes will be a £15 Amazon voucher.

RULES
Please note, any images containing inappropriate or offensive material will not be accepted into the competition
If your image contains anyone other than yourself you must have permission to enter the image into the competition on the social platform and the responsibility lies with you.
You must use the #UCASatNorthumbria in your social post.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Only enquirers visiting the UCAS Exhibition at Northumbria University are eligible to enter.
Posts valid for entry into the competition must be posted onto the specified social platforms between 8am and 3pm on the day of the exhibition.
Only social posts including the #UCASatNorthumbria will be eligible for entry.
Visitors can enter as many times as they like, by posting social media posts across all of the specified social platforms between the given times.
Northumbria staff will select the best social posts that conform to the T&Cs of the exhibition and then choose a favourite to win.
Winners will be contacted on the day of the exhibition via the platform they used to enter.
Prizes won cannot be altered or exchanged for a cash prize.
Any visitor who posts a social media post that contains any negative or offensive imagery or wording will automatically be removed from the competition and not eligible to win.
Social platforms that visitors are able to use for entry into the competition are Snap Chat, Twitter and Instagram. Whilst you can use other platforms to post social comments to your followers about the day these will not be considered for the competition.
Visitors do not have to apply to Northumbria University in order to win a prize and the competition is purely to increase social media activity around the UCAS exhibition.
Northumbria University have the final say in who is eligible to enter and who wins. Northumbria University’s decision is final.
Competitions are not open to employees.
No purchase necessary.
Posting your uploads to the social media platforms is not proof that we have seen your entry. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are missed, or which are not seen for any reason when Northumbria University staff are monitoring the social media hashtags to be used in the competition.
The closing time for each draw is 3pm on the the date of the exhibition, 28th April and Northumbria University reserves the right to amend the competition end date at any time.
If you win, we will notify you by the platform you used to enter before the end of the exhibition. If you do not respond within 48 hours of being notified, you will forfeit your prize and Northumbria University reserves the right to choose another winner. The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
By entering the competition and using #UCASatNorthumbria you are giving Northumbria University permission to use your post, including video and image content, and social media username, in any marketing material, social media platform and on our website.
The prize will not be transferable to another person.
No part of a prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.
If an advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.

Northumbria University reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. Northumbria University may also create rules which will apply to a specific competition only. If we do this we will publish the amended competition rules and/or specific competition rules on the relevant competition page.
If the competition or promotion is run on Facebook Twitter, Vine, Instagram, Google+, or other social media platforms, then it is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with these social media platforms. By participating you hereby release and hold harmless these social media platforms from any and all liability associated with this promotion.
Northumbria University will endeavour to send prizes within a month of the competition end date but cannot guarantee this delivery time.
The competition is governed by English law.
