2. This year spaces at the event are free so it is a really cost effective way to meet students from all disciplines in one place and at one time. 

3. Northumbria is a research rich, business focused, professional university with a global reputation for academic excellence.

4. Northumbria is the largest University region and growing.

5. Our Business School has a global reputation for delivering a wide range of high quality programmes which are innovative, relevant and accredited under the internationally-recognised ‘EPAS’ system. Employer input is an integral part of programme design.

6. Our Law School has won a number of awards including two Law Society Excellence Awards and ‘The Queen’s Anniversary Prize’.

7. Students on all programmes have opportunities for real-world experience. Placements are an integral part of many programmes. Some include a year working abroad and others have opportunities for short term projects.

8. Our students come from the region, from elsewhere in the UK and from abroad. Undergraduate students come from school or college with high grades at A Level. Some students are mature students with extensive relevant experience.

9. Our students really engage with employers who visit the campus. The Careers and Employment Service coordinates an extensive programme of employer events which is well attended by motivated, career-focused students.

10. Employability is at the heart of Northumbria’s mission. Northumbria University has more employer partnerships than almost any other university in the country and has the highest graduate employability record in the North East of England.
