The Department of Computer and Information Sciences has teamed up with industry to offer BSc (Hons) Digital & Technology Solutions. The four year programme is designed to create confident, competent and capable IT professionals. You will be employed by one of our partner employer organisations as one of their employees on a full time degree apprenticeship and spend the majority of your time with them gaining real-world experience and developing your professional skills. You will study at the university on a part time basis, typically one day a week, where you will be introduced to key theories and practice by leading academic experts in the field of digital and information technologies. You will then be able to apply this knowledge and expertise in the workplace with your employer organisation.

I really like the fact that the modules I am studying will be used in my everyday work. A work recent assignment used PHP programming which I have been learning in my job as well as Northumbria, and it was great to be able to use workplace skills for university and vice versa.
