IJGE Special issue in search of Entrepreneurial Masculinities: Exploring accomplishments, social constructions, ideals and hegemonies.

This special issue looks at the way masculinities - as culturally constructed notions - shape and are shaped in entrepreneurial practices and processes. The SI builds on extant work to further show how heterogeneity defines entrepreneurial masculinities (there are multiple configurations of masculinities that are expressed by men , and women, within entrepreneurial processes, as entrepreneurs develop enterprises in particular contexts). How agency is used to overcome structural barriers is a feature of several papers. Some innovative methodological processes are used to explore the lived experiences of entrepreneurial masculinities.
