Awards and Accolades

Awards

Northumbria University’s Student Law Office has won the Pro Bono/Community Initiative category in the highly anticipated Northern Law Awards2023

What is an accreditation?

A course is awarded accreditation when it has been recognised by an independent body for its excellent quality and content.

If a course is accredited, it provides transferable skills from the classroom to a work environment, boosting graduate employability within the course. It ensures your course is continuously being held to the highest educational standards and practices.

Our Law programmes are:

Recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) for the purposes of satisfying the academic stage of training.

Accredited by the Bar Standards Board for the purpose of a Qualifying Law Degree.
