If you are a non-law graduate, you can achieve the academic stage required to practice law through the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) (also known as the Common Professional Examination (CPE)). Completing this course would allow you to enter the Legal Practice Course (LPC) to train as a solicitor or the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) to train as a Barrister.
