Northumbria University is running its annual Pre-Bar Course Information Event online this year. It will be delivered by Emma Piasecki and colleagues from the Bar Course. Many students will know Emma from her work in Mauritius.

The programme will give you a valuable head start in applying for the Bar Course - which has now replaced the Bar Professional Training Course.

The programme will introduce you to the Bar Course and some of the key skills of the Barrister, including Advocacy. Advice on the new, direct application process, scholarships and the Inns of Court will be available. You may also make an individual appointment with Emma to discuss your career plans, application to Northumbria and any other questions you may have. Any student who is considering applying to Northumbria should make an individual appointment - these will be made available on registration.
