The event will take place on City Campus in the Conference Suite, 4th floor, Sandyford Building on Tuesday 22 May, 9.30am-1.30pm and Wednesday 23 May, 1-5pm.
Take part in interactive sessions and enhance your ability to succeed in the recruitment process. Work with the careers team to analyse your skills and strengths, learn how to apply these within your CV and applications. You will also gain knowledge of the North East and UK graduate job market and the latest vacancies available. Finally, you will learn techniques to give confident and successful interview answers to secure your dream job.

This session will enable you to identify your strengths and how they might best be put to use in the job market. This is essential preparation for finding the role that is right for you and being able to make strong applications to convince organsiations that you will be an asset to them.

Learn how to navigate the graduate job market and gain tips on building your networks and accessing hidden jobs. We’ll also look at some key labour market information and resources to help kick start your graduate job search in the North-East, U.K. and beyond.

A strong CV and application form is your gateway to the graduate job market. We will look at how a CV is a personal marketing tool that can be used to build networking relationships and help you reflect on your skills and strengths as well as how to effectively apply for a variety of graduate positions.
