10th North East Energy Materials and Systems Meeting (NEEMS 10)

Tuesday 12th November 2024, 9am - 5pm

The NEEMS meeting has been running since 2016 and has an industry focus with previous meetings addressing skills, supply chains and whole energy systems for Net Zero. The theme of this year’s meeting is a celebration of collaborative ReNU projects between industry and academia including joint presentations from industrialists and doctoral candidates.

The meeting offers an excellent opportunity to:

  • build professional relationships between industry and academia;

  • interact with ReNU doctoral candidates and industrialists;

  • identify collaborative R&D projects; and

  • share and learn new perspectives on achieving Net Zero.

The meeting also provides an opportunity to learn more about the newly-funded £5.3M ReNU+ programme which, for the first time, will open a limited part of the training programme to people who are not enrolled on a PhD.
