The Student Nursing Times Awards 2015 are now open

28th October 2014

Do you know an outstanding Nursing student or member of staff?

The upcoming Student Nursing Times Awards celebrate the best in nursing education across the UK so there’s no better time to demonstrate the hard work and commitment of nursing students, staff and departments. You may put yourself forward, or be nominated by someone else.

Entering the awards is not just a chance to showcase your talent, but will also provide you with a great accolade for your CV and give you an edge when applying for a job.

You can enter 18 categories, covering all aspects of nursing education.

The Awards are now open - entries must be made by Friday 9 January 2015.

Last year, a number of Northumbria staff and students made it through to the final and the University took home ‘Nurse Education Provider of the Year: Post Registration’ for the third year running. One of Northumbria’s Nursing students also won ‘Student of the Year: Post-Registration’.

Vanessa Gibson, Teaching Fellow, and Jaden Allan, Senior Lecturer, along with former finalists, will be running drop-in sessions for students and staff who are interested in entering.
