Northumbria academics discuss anti corruption research

Academics from Northumbria are presenting their research on tackling money laundering and corruption at a seminar open to the public and hosted by Oxford University on March 24th.

Dr Jackie Harvey and Dr Peter Sproat from Northumbria’s Newcastle Business School will discuss their findings as part of a series of research projects funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).

The event, Financial Patterns and International Architectures: Grand corruption Nigeria and the Role of the West, is available online via zoom from 15:00pm on Wednesday March 24. Dr Harvie and Dr Sproat will deliver a presentation entitled: Tracking Beneficial Ownership and the Proceeds of Corruption: A puzzle of financial flows
