Dr. Eleni Dermentzi is an Assistant Professor in Digital Business at Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University. She received her PhD degree from Newcastle University Business School, Newcastle University. She also holds an MSc degree in Information Systems from University of Macedonia and a first degree in Business Administration from the same university. Her current research interests include IT adoption, digital business models, social aspects of Web 2.0, online public engagement, digital government, digital learning, and learning analytics. She is a Fellow of Higher Education Academy and a member of the British Academy of Management and the UK Academy for Information Systems.
