Dr Jie Ma

Senior Lecturer

Jie is a Senior Lecturer in Operations Management and programme leader at Newcastle Business School. Jie has a broad research interest in operations management and supply chain management. He is particularly interested in sustainable supply chain management, lean and agile implementations. One of his recent research interests is within the realm of social network analysis and using Big Data analytics to manage crisis. He has published high impact journals such as Transportation Research Part E, Information Technology & People, Journal of Business Research, Enterprise Information System, Journal of Management and Organisation, and many others.
