Businesses in the region can access Arrow to help you innovate and grow through fully-funded short innovation projects in collaboration with four leading North East universities;

There is no cost to your business for eligible projects. Arrow is part-funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund which is a UK Government scheme that’s part of the Levelling Up agenda. The fund is providing £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The aim is to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK by investing in communities, supporting local business, people and skills.
North of Tyne Combined Authority (now administered by the North East Combined Authority) and Durham County Council are the lead authorities in their respective areas, and are the funders for this programme.
Arrow innovation projects are helping to speed up processes and break down barriers to success. We have already helped over 150 regional businesses to innovate and develop new products and services.
