I decided to study abroad as I felt like it’s a once-in-a-lifetime-opportunity as I only have one year left of university and it's not every day that we have the opportunity to study almost anywhere in the world.
I have decided to go to UNAM as it is a public university and I felt like my profile fitted better in a public university than a private one.
My stand out moment was when I delivered a presentation in Spanish and scored a 9/10 in the module.
It is not expensive overall, however as I decided to adopt a healthy lifestyle it did cost me a bit more than other students, I compared expenses with.
Studying abroad has definitely made me a more mature individual and certainly more responsible. This is beneficial for my future career as an International Business Management student I want to be able to travel and get to work long-term in different countries; this opportunity in Mexico was a good beginning to experience what it really is to move to a different country alone.
I would definitely recommend to any student that is thinking about studying abroad to do advanced research about the country that you are going to and make sure that you try your best to take part in groups with other international students in the country you going to.
