Changing your mind

It's ok to change your mind. Choosing a university is one of the biggest decisions you'll make, and it's normal to reconsider your course, your firm or insurance choice, or even your university, right up until you start.

Whatever's brought you here, there's a good chance one of these questions matches your situation:

  • Can I change my course after accepting an offer?
  • Can I still apply to Northumbria if I haven't applied anywhere, or applied elsewhere?
  • Can I come back to Northumbria if I previously declined an offer?

This page is for UK undergraduate applicants. Looking to study at Northumbria from outside the UK? Our international pages can help.

Below, find the scenario that matches you and the advice we have to offer:

Yes, you can reapply. If you previously passed your interview in this cycle, you won't need to be interviewed again, though you'll still need to meet the academic entry requirements and any other requirements for the programme. If you were previously unsuccessful at interview, you can still reapply provided you meet the academic criteria, but you will need to attend an online interview again.
