Our supported entry schemes offer a range of support and opportunities, to help students throughout their journey to Northumbria University. In addition to the information and support provided through the scheme, successful completion of one of the supported entry schemes enables students to earn supported entry scheme points, equivalent to UCAS tariff points, when applying to Northumbria University.
We have a number of supported entry schemes and further information can be found by selecting the relevant programme below.
NU Entry - a structured scheme for students in their first year of sixth form or college (e.g. Year 12 in England, Year 13 in NI) attending schools/colleges in England and Northern Ireland.
Access NU - a 1-year programme for students who will be 21 or over when starting their undergraduate degree course and who are currently in their final or only year of studying a level 3 programme, such as an Access to HE Diploma, in England.
Destination Northumbria - a 1 year programme for students in their second year of sixth form or college, attending a school/college in the North East of England, Yorkshire or the Midlands.
