Why did you choose Northumbria University, Newcastle?

Because of the rapid transformation to meet the academic challenges.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

Very lively, suitable for student living and I want really acclimatise myself to the environment.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

"Geordie language" and St James' Park Stadium as I'm a fan of Newcastle United.

Did you find Northumbria University welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Yes, of course!

What have you enjoyed most about coming to Northumbria University?

The location and ease of access during the admission process.

Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?

Christopher James Stewart- presently postgraduate research assistance in Applied Sciences.

What is your favourite place on campus?

Ellison Building.

What is the best thing about your course?

Looking for neonatal infections and helping the preterm babies on how to get rid out of their infections.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

How to carry out many molecular techniques in my research field and improve my computer skills.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

Academic research and computer as well as language proficiency.

Have you worked on any projects with businesses or been on a placement? What were your most memorable experiences?

No, my most memorable experiences are the extreme weather condition and British life style.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

Come to Northumbria - you will never regret!

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at Northumbria University, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

I'm now very optimistic and straight-forward.
