Why did you choose Northumbria University, Newcastle?

I thought the course would be exciting, and easy to travel to.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

Lovely place, play variety of sports and the usual social activities.

Did you find Northumbria University welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Yes, I thought it was extremely welcoming.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to Northumbria University?

Meeting new people and tackling new challenges.

Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?

My tutors!

Who has inspired you most at Northumbria University?

Other artists/designers.

What is your favourite place on campus?

Pandon Basement.

What is the best thing about your course?

There are some exciting projects and modules.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

There are too many to mention, but probably to have more confidence in my own work.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

Anything that is involved with design, art or creation in general. A vast amount of skills have been learned and developed particularly from being on placement this year.

Have you worked on any projects with businesses or been on a placement? What were your most memorable experiences?

Currently on placement now at a brand communications agency called Precept in Newcastle, having previously moved away to live in Kent for a placement at BHA. Also had a summer placement at Glad Creative in Durham.

Have you taken up any opportunities to travel with your current course/undertake field trips? If so, please tell us about them.

Yes, I moved to Kent for placement.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

Make sure you think about the career you want to go in and that the course meets your standards and expectations.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at Northumbria University, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

Matured vastly, improved and learned a variety of skills, feel more confident and employable.

Creative, Lively, Influential!
